Kokoda Track Trek Permits must be purchased by all trekkers visiting the Kokoda Track, whether you are undertaking an independent trek or a trek with an organised tour. When you trek with an organised tour, the tour company should include the permit costs in the total cost of the trek and purchase them on behalf of the trekker. Be sure to check this with your tour operator at the time of booking. Click here to find out what Kokoda Trek Permit Fees are used for.
