The Kokoda Trail is our most famous trek here in Papua New Guinea. It is steeped in WW11 history and is an emotional and physically challenging walk. We have spent many hours on the track opening up new areas for trekkers to visit pertaining to the Kokoda campaign.

Frank H. Taylor and his team have had a 30-year relationship with the people and landscape of the Kokoda Trail.

It’s time to embark on an experience that is as challenging as it is educational and liberating. At Kokoda Trekking, we’ve escorted thousands of trekkers through one of the most beautiful and difficult landscapes in the world.

Escape Trekking Adventures run primarily two length tours for the Kokoda Track, both tours enjoying a 9-day trek through the wartime jungle path and a night spent before and after the trek at the beautiful Ela Beach hotel in Port Moresby.

Kokoda War Memorial Mission

When you trek Kokoda with Kokoda Trail Expeditions, you help the village economy and provide employment for the lovely locals. This way we pay our gratitude collectively to their descendants, the selfless Fuzzy Wuzzy Angels who helped carry supplies and stretcher wounded Australian diggers during the Kokoda Campaign in 1942.
